Locally Recognised Worship Leader Training (3 in person and 9 online)

WHAT: a year-long course to train to become an LRWL to lead worship for your local congregation; assessment of your participation and work, and a concluding assessed service, are required at which time a certificate will be presented to all passing students; there will be two start dates for this course – one in March (Spring rotation) and one in September (Autumn rotation)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • completion of online application form by first Tuesday in July for the Autumn rotation and first Tuesday in January for the Spring rotation.
  • letter of support from the Eldership of your church
  • DBS check through local church before the end of the year of study
  • completion of foundational Safeguarding Training during the year of study
  • students who have not undertaken the Stepwise Programme or similar will also be required to engage with the Faith-Filled Life stream plus one other stream, including the peer support group, before or during their year of study
  • attendance at all classes except in valid circumstances with catch-up work

WHEN: meeting monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month (except March which will be the third Saturday due to Synod Together) – 4 in person from 10:00 to 15:30 – location TBD, 8 online from 9:30-12:30
