Dear friends,
I bring you good news. We have a new Synod Training and Development Officer (TDO).
The Revd Andy Twilley, a Baptist minister, has been offered the job by the Synod Appointment Panel after a successful interview and he has accepted.
Andy comes to us as an exceptionally experienced minister who would work well in situations which involved training and the care of others. He is a gifted speaker and communicator and he is able to enthuse an audience of diverse theologies as the interviewing group found. It has been testified of him that he is a mission-minded innovator, committed to seeing individuals and the faith community grow and develop to fulfil their true potential in Christ. He is a person who has a pastoral heart and is truly a prayerful man.
He is presently the Minister of Fleckney Baptist Church in Leicestershire.
He starts with us on 1st September 2016 and looks very much forward to joining us in the Synod.
