Revd John Berryman

A Message from the Synod Clerk

Dear friends

With the hope of resurrection to eternal life, I write to let you that I have been advised that The Revd John Berryman, a retired minister, died peacefully on Friday 18th August.

John served at Hartlepool, Brigg & Barton on Humber, Brigg, as industrial Chaplain and at Bradford on Avon & Holt before retiring to Faversham in Kent.  John is survived by his wife June and daughters Sarah and Joane.

John’s funeral will take place on the 6th of September at 1.20pm at Charing Crematorium, Kent.

Our prayers are with all who knew John and, particularly, his wife June and daughters Sarah and Joane, who will miss him dearly and are mourning John’s passing.

“The souls of the righteous are in God’s hands; no torment will touch them.”

May John rest in peace and rise up in glory.

Yours in Christ

Revd Derrick Dzandu-Hedidor

P.S. Revd Martin Belgrove has informed us that the funeral will be followed by a service of thanksgiving for John’s life and ministry at 3.30pm at the United Church, Preston Street Faversham Kent, ME13 8PE  (25.8.17)
