It is with sadness that we learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She has been a faithful servant of the Lord all her life. Amidst all the due ceremony that occurs at this time, we remember that at the core is a grieving family. It has been said that “the queen provided continuity at a time of unparalleled change, stability in the midst of much uncertainty and a focus of unity in an increasingly diverse and multicultural country.”
