Southern Synod hosted a joint Youth Residential with Thames North Synod. It was a great event and was enjoyed by all. A testimony from Isaac, one of Southern Synod’s attendees can be found below;
I really did like this year’s Youth Residential. This is because of the water activities. We did canoeing as a team and I also made new friends. I think that my favourite activity was the zip lining. We did challenges in it like doing it no handed. However, you didn’t have to compete in these challenges if you didn’t want to. The rooms were really comfy and spacious. The food was good especially the breakfast. The Bible teachings were clear and fun to learn. They were interactive and involved everyone. This year I learnt how to say my name in sign language and ask what’s your name. I really enjoy going every year and can’t wait to go again.
