Visit to the Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK)

Some of you may already be aware that the Moderator is in South Korea this week. You can follow her travels here – Moderator’s PCK Blog

Here is news about the trip from URC Global and Intercultural Ministries:

“The Revd Dr Michael Jagessar, Secretary for Global and Intercultural Ministries, is currently in Korea, visiting our partner churches, the Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK) and the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea (PROK). Michael arrived in Seoul on Saturday (October 22nd) and is joined by three Synod moderators (Rev Nicola Furley-Smith, Southern Synod; Rev Simon Walkling, Wales Synod and Rev Andrews Prasad, Thames North Synod) and Rev Lesley Charlton (minister of Kingston URC), who are also visiting our partner churches.

The visit will help the partner churches explore the practical working out of the Memorandum of Understanding between the URC and the Presbyterian Church of Korea, it will offer the opportunity for both Churches to work intentionally to grow and deepen their missional relationship. The visit also includes important conversations and the strengthening of partnerships with the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea.”

More news about the visit can be found on our Facebook Page – Southern Synod, United Reformed Church, which will be regularly updated – Southern Synod FaceBook Page
